How will you support us?
501(c)3
A contribution to the CPAZ Foundation 501(c)3 is a charitable contribution that is generally tax deductible for federal income tax purposes. Any individual, corporation, business or non-profit can contribute to the c3. The proceeds will be used for education and outreach and will not be used for directly lobbying or political campaigns.
501(c)4
A contribution to the CPAZ 501(c)4 is generally NOT deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. They may be deductible as trade or business expenses, if ordinary and necessary in the conduct of the taxpayer’s business. Any individual, corporation, business or non-profit may contribute to the CPAZ 501(c)4 and the majority of proceeds will be used for research, education, advocacy, administrative and legal expenses.
PAC
A contribution to the CPAZ Political Action Committee is NOT tax deductible as charitable contributions for federal tax purposes. These contributions are used exclusively for political campaign based expenses to carry out the purpose of CPAZ.
